Default Kawasaki Charging issues Please help!

I have a 99 Kawasaki Bayou klf300c 4x4 and its not charging but the issue is if you try to start it it will start then immediately die then i can unplug the Voltage regulator and it will run as long as the headlights are on. with head lights off it dies at low idle. When its running i plug the voltage reg in and it dies. i got a new one and its the same thing. When i disconnected the black wire with yellow stripe it runs but the regulator gets hot and still wont run without a battery and the Black wire with yellow stripe that is suppose to be ground it showing almost 11v on it. That wire in for sure a ground i traced it and it ties in to all the other grounds. So WTF??? The stater shows 13v at idle on each of the 3 yellow wires and when revved goes up to 25v or so. Also i just put a new dci on it cuz it wasn't firing at all when i got it.

Have you checked the stator to see if it's grounded ?
With the bike off , unplug the stator wires and check - it should show very high to inf. resistance from any of the wires to ground .

Only 3 wires coming from the Stater all are yellow. There are 2 that go to the Pulse coil but not to the stater. Now the stater does bolt metal to metal to the engine block.
