new to me 2002 650 kawasaki twin , when I go over 5 miles/hour, I start getting a ringing sound. Any ideas where to start looking ?? does not matter 2 or 4 wheel drive or high or low gear

 

Might help to have a younger person ride the machine or with you that can try to locate what area is making the noise while you concentrate on driving.Plus a load on the machine such as another rider may reduce the noise or increase it. Wouldn't help none if I was there as I have tinnitus,a constant buzzing and ringing in my ears..

 

thanks for the input I also have tinnitus and hearing loss, know what you mean. think I may put it up on blocks and run it will provide an update later thks again ed

 

The hearing loss I can put up with.The wife thinks I have selective hearing loss though..
