05 360 Prairie 4x4
Hi, My manual doesn't show anything about a front axle, I'll have to get a 4x4 manual now.
Searching the web I see that the Front differential fluid is mostly said to be 10w-40, yet when I checked the fluid level on my prairie it looks & smells like a 90w gear oil.
From your experience, which oil should I use and do I need to flush it if it has the wrong oil?
thanks

Cant say I ever heard of a diff using 10w 40 oil.....I use walmart full syn 75w-140 diff lube in my current 450i and the Praire I had for 16 years with no issues! Best to reaserch and see factory recomendations are, but the full syn 75w140 covers all diff requirements from all mfgrs and have the blessing of the Kymco factory for my 450i. If your diff has 10w 40 in it, drain and fill with correct lube, run for a short ride, drain and refill with correct lube again and you should be good to go
