Default KSV700B won’t start

I have spark, I can smell fuel, bike only has 500 hours on it “so the last owner said”. I’ve rode the bike maybe 5-6 times and each time it took longer and longer to get started. Could that be the belt, starter jet on the carb? Also starter fluid does not help. And suggestions or links would be greatly appreciated.

Is it getting full airflow ? That's the last thing engines need to run besides good compression of course. If you have a compression tester kit might as well check for compression. Couldn't hurt to check the airflow and give the carbs a real good cleaning sometimes those little devils cause all the issues themselves. Good luck happy riding

Less than 30 psi on both cylinders. Looks like I’m going to be taking the top end off, unless there is anything else I can check before I start taking it apart.

Nothing else to check other than the top end. It could be the pistons and rings are completly shot.
