chain
#1
I have a 98 Mojave and a service manual that covers 87-95 Mojos. I checked the chain slack and I'm at the upper end of the 40-50mm usable range. I also did the 20 link length test and it's coming in at 318-319mm. I guess the eccentric chain tension adjustment only goes so far then it starts to become loose so ya gotta back it up a hair to keep it in the maximum tightness range. Any how in the manual for 87-95s it calls for a DAIDO,Enless D.I.D. 520 VC.5
90 Link chain and in the back it has a supplement for 88-89 Mojos and calls for a ENUMA Joint Endless, EK520 SR-02 90 Link chain. I was wondering what do all these name & #s mean? And what is the correct chain for my 98 Mojave? I guess I'm suppose to replace the sprockets now as well and keep the others in my toolbox for emergency field repairs! Factory or aftermarket parts suggestions as well!
Cobra exhaust & rear spider tires only mods I'm aware of (3rd owner)

I'm not sure what all the numbers are for but your 98 should call for a 520 o-ring chain, that's what my 2000 is supposed to have. I recently went with a "regular" 520 chain and saved about $30 and it works fine.
