Anyone know for sure if Lakota has a rev limiter??

If it does I have never hit it. I'm afraid I may over rev my engine sometimes. Thanks for any info.!

I don't think they do...I have passed a freind on a 300ex and his will be stuttering, but mine will just keep on revving....

thanks for the input. I've never hit mine either. BTW I wanted to tell you about a post on the Honda forum about a '98 Lakota vs '01 300ex, of course they are stating that no way a Lakota can keep up with one. I know for a fact that's not true. I thought you may want to add something for them to chew on. see ya!

didn't think any quad came with a rev limiter?!?!?!

Oh yes. Actually "most" of them have one from the factory.

The local dealer said that it does not. I have never hit it if it does. But i have never hit the raptor's either and i know that it has one.I rode my lakota sat. at a cycle park instead of the raptor. After putting about 100 hours on the raptor,could not be happier.Still like the lakota but i am going to sell it.The biggest disapointment when i rode the lakota sat. was the handlebar bend.You can get spoiled in a hurry.
