Is the new Kawie 650 belt driven? If so do Kawie belts slip like polaris belts when they get wet? Or are Kawie belts sealed or something? I am thinking about getting another quad and like the looks of the new 650. I have a rubi now and the main reason I got it was because of no belts. Thanks for the info. PS. Dont bother posting if you are going to tell me that polaris belts dont slip when wet cuz if yours doesnt then you havent been in deep enough water.

Yes, the new 650 Praire does has belt drive. As far as slipping, the newer machines are much more water-proof than they used to be. I also own a Ruby as well as 2 250 Explorers. We have not had the belts slip yet and have been through a fast moving stream that was up to the racks on them. The 650 is a nice machine!
