I just bought my new 650 yesterday and took it for a ride last night. This bike is incredible! I just sold my Rubicon that I had for 5 months and before that I had a Sportsman 500HO. They were both great bikes but the Kawasaki blends the best of both those bikes and puts them into the 650. In my opinion, this is the first real Sport/utility bike being a balst to ride with plenty of acceleration. The belt transmission is far more responsive than the polaris and about the same responsiveness as the Rubicon but the 650 has alot more power. The brakes are great, it rides better than the rubicon, still not as plush as the independent on the sportsman. The 2wd option is great for sporty type riding and the optional locking front end is great. The motor sounds like no other (almost like a Harley.) I just hope kawasaki did there homework and the bike will last the test of time that a Honda does.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your 650. I'm picking mine up on Monday or Tuesday. Is there ANYTHING about the bike that you don't like (or anyone else have opinions as well)? I'll be using the 650 for ALL-AROUND riding and leaving the 250R for those special dune and/or trail rides. How is the gas mileage? I've read it's not too good.

Thanks,
