I picked up the 650 yesterday and my friend picked up a Scrambler 500 2 weeks ago. On pavement to 54 mph I had him by 6 quad lengths.

We swapped for a while and both agreed the 650 was better in all categories. The scrambler felt much weaker in power than the 650.

This is about the same amount I had him by with my 400 ex a few weeks ago. Tomorrow when I line up my 400ex and 650 I am betting on a tie.

Not to pry, but are you not worried about breaking it in properly?
I was told 1/2 throttle for the first 10 hours on my last new quad.

I was thinking the same thing as DaveC. Aren't you worried about break in? I saw where one guy on here had to have the rings replaced in his because he didn't break it in, just gave it hell! Just a thought.
