Raced my 400 ex and my 650 today.

Did you really think it would be much of a race? Like the looks of the new 650. Was at the honda/Kawisaki dealer yesterday, they race both and said the 400 never beat it. Honda needs to do something now that the utilities are out running their "sport quads". Or maybe that is the reason you can now get the 300/400 in scared yellow skin covering, at no extra cost.

jefffoxsr, which atv do you think you'll be doing most of your riding on? Pretty soon I'll be lining up my bone stock LT250r against the 650. I think it'll be pretty close.

The 400 ex goes for sale tomorrow. There's no reason to keep it. The 650 does everything the 400 ex doesn't do for my type of riding. It handles the turns as well too. Hit the turn at any speed on the 650 and peg the gas and easily power slide perfectly though the corner. It's amazing. for a quad with 25" tires it's amazing. There's now way this thing is gonna roll around a corner if you have any experience.
One of the reasons is the the track in the rear is wider than the 400ex and it's 2" wider than the Grizzly.
This is by far the best quad on the market.
It won't do a 40 foot table, but neither will I. I got some serious air on the 650 yesterday. It will handle the small jumps I hit. 3 foot verticle max high speed flying 20 feet horizontal type of jumps. It handled that yesterday gracefully.
