How fast will a 220 Kawasaki run.

 

48 mph- 53 Mph now that is what i think. might not be true.

106mph is right, they run anywhere from 45-53 tops or so. I had it going about 52 or so? side-by-side with my dads truck up north on the country road just to test this!

 

Yep u guys are right on it i hit 52.4 max on the road.

 

there is now way a stock 220 will go over 50 short of rolling it over a cliff or putting it in the back of a truck. My wifes goes 46 on a gps, well maintained machine.

 

I did it on my 99 220 bayou on a long strech of maybe slightly downhill to flat road plus a k&n filter. Got the readin from my etrex on shorter strechs of slight uphills i can only get 46 mph.

 

theres some guys that have a bayou 220 in my neighborhood. they live 3 houses away. one day they were ridin it up and down the street goin as fast as they could. it was laughable how slow they were going. i mean i could probably almost ride my bike that fast. lol

 

How old were these kids and how do u know they were goin as fast ast they could? If they wernt very old maybe mommy and daddy set the throttel control.

well for one the guy riding was 19, his brother is 17. they've had that quad for years and i went and talked to them before i got my lt. they told me that they had just turned their thing off so it could go faster. that was a few years ago but i'm sure they didn't limit it again. and i could tell they were goin as fast as they could cuz you could tell by the way the engine sounded. and i've seen them ride it many many times so i know what kinds of speeds are attainable on it and their laughable/
