man these ATV seats get EXTREMELY hot.... is there anyway to keep them cool without doing anything major to them. I got off for only about 10 minutes to move some brush off a trail and when I got back on I couldn't even sit down the seat was so hot!! Do any of you have tips on keeping these things cool?

Lay a towel over it?

What I did was to install one of those clip on fans that you see hanging in the big rig trucks that blow on the truck drivers face. It keeps you cool when the going is slow and when you get off your butt to clear the trail the fan keeps the seat within the ideal temp range for your rearend. Don't keep it on to long though or you will run your battery down. Chet

I use a cloth seat cover and it seems to work pretty well.

You could also hire someone to come along with you and when you get off have them to get on for ideal temp range. Putting a towel on is just to easy and you could put more wear on the seat from removing the towel wrong.
