I want to know what a chatter is ? does it really make a noise or is it a vibration you just feel

 

I remember reading comments from Greg Hall (Tech Connection) that some Kawasaki engines are known to develop a "harmless knock" in the clutch basket. I have a 97 Bayou and would need someone to point out this noise in my engine since I don't hear it.

Maybe someone can explain the nature of this knock.

 

It's a rattle in the shift linkage. no big deal
