hey i got a 2001 300ex. it runs as good as new but has the usual dings and scratches like a lil rip in seat and stuff like that. and welp my one friend has a tecate 4. and wants to get something else. he wants 2800 and i want 3000 for mine. and we are trying to trade equal +200 twards me. what do you think?

tecate mods: works fronts, powdercoated frame, 300big bore portnpolish, front fast trekkers, worn holeshots, new plastic

Ex mods: 14tooth counter sprocket, new rear tires, and kept super clean. but riddin a lot.

DO IT! you won't be disapointed. a stock tecate will beat a stock banshee...so just imagine what a 300cc one would do! trust me you'll be glad u traded.

hey, i just traded my 300ex to a tecate. at first i thought it was stupid, cause the tecate is so old, and my 300ex was a 96 with a butt-load of mods, but after the trade, i'm not at all disapointed. the tecate is awesome, and as long as it's been takin care of, you'll be better off. with the mods you listed for it, it sounds like a great deal.... by the way, your freind wouldnt happen to have a good rear shock that would fit my tecate he'd like to sell does he??
