Help with KX 250,Dirt Bike
#3
I guess it depends on the oil you use. Some oils loke golden spectro or klotz has certain ratios that might be different than other oils but I think with a regular 2-stroke oil your supposed to mix at 32:1 or 40:1. If I were you I would just contact a dealer or a reputable mechanic.

I have a 01 KDX 200 and it runs 32 to 1. The only place on the KDX 200 that has the mix ratio is back on the rear fender by the tail light and its even a sticker than in time will come off. It says nothing on or even near the fuel tank about how to mix the fuel. I have had two other Kawasaki two stroke dirt bikes(KX250,KDX220) and they were the same in that they had no mix instuctions other than this little sticker. Chet

Most of the mixes are 32:1 ratio. You may purchase some that are synthetic that are 50:1. I actually prefer the 50:1. This make less smoke and less oil from dripping out the back exhaust. You may also go to a motorcycle store and ask what is prefered for your type of bike that you have. Hope this helps.
