yes i got my december issue the other day. They said they are expecting Kawi to release something "new and exciting" any day now!

 

I just got ATV Action and they have a pretty detailed description and spy photo of the new Kawi. It's got the 650 twin motor, 5 speed manual clutch, chain drive and had Banshee and 400 ex plastic. They say it will be a 2003 model but it is still speculation. They are calling it the 2003 Kawasaki Tecate 650. I was planning on selling the ol' 85 ATC 250r and getting a 400ex but I think I'll wait as I would rather ride a Kawi and would love to have that motor in a real sport bike. I hope they keep the weight down.

Same here I hope it's as good as everyone is hoping. I have waited a long time just like everyone else, so it better be worth it. I just hope it will be a contender with the Raptor, Cannondale, and the DS650. If not it will still be cool to see another Kawi quad that will run with the 400EX and the new Suzuki.
