I called Treadepot.com to order the 27" Mudrunners on .190 Douglas Aluminum Wheels and was told that Douglas does not have the wheels out yet. I called Douglas and got the same answer. Does anyone out there have this or a similar package? I though I read a post recently about someone with this exact order?? If so, how did you get it, and how much clearance is there between the rear tire and the fuel tank shield? What about ITP magnums?I want to stick with aluminum. My stock wheels are fully dinged up on the exposed rims from a few trips to Telico, N.C. and I am looking for more rim protection without spending $800 for a set of beadlock wheels. Does anyone have this problem solved yet?

I did exactly what you do not want to do. I purchased a set of Douglas Beadlocks for OMF Performance Products. Leon and his company are the only ones who manufacture 25" bead locks. As far as I'm concern it's one of the best investments I have made on my wheeler. No matter what tires a person decides to run I'm a firm believer in OMF's bead locks.

man 25" beadlocks are pretty big, i would say its monsterous. i thinkyou mean that OMF makes the only 12" beadlock rims, the 25" is the tire size.

Ah yes, a fellow Iowan. Oldman Wheeler, where do you ride? We play on some trails in Tama county down by the river and are planning a trip to Busie.

Did you order just the wheels from OMF or was it a tire/wheel combo? I was thinking of OMF beadlocks, ITP Magnum or C-series wheels with 27" mudrunners.

I believe they are the best sport/utility rim on the market and worth every penny! You can order them by call Leon at OMF Performance Products 909-354-8272.

Ropadopa,
How do you like the mudrunners on your 650? I am looking into the same setup. I was also told by treadepot that the .190 douglas were not available yet for the ’02 650. Do you have any pictures with these wheels and tires on your 650, I would like to see what it looks like.

Ropadopa,
I am curious how tall those tires are while mounted on the quad with no rider. Would you please take a measurement? Thanks
