Hey, check out my spy pics in Nov.'s 4-Wheel ATV Action (p.26 "spy report&quot. They were good enough to give me credit, unlike those **** at DirtWheels. Looks like you Kawi guys will have something worth riding pretty soon.

Thanks for taking the pic. It will give us something to dream about. If i were you, i would have "borrowed" the kawasaki then you could have written us a nice report on what you thought about it.........from a nice prison cell.

I have a question for you. A few months before you posted the picture on these forums, some one else said that they rode a "pre-production" 650 kaw fully automatic. After seeing the picture although it was blurry, I thought that it looked like a shaft drive swing arm like the one on the Prairie. People basically said I was crazy, but now dirt wheels is reporting of an automatic, but in the ATV Action article it states that you said it was a 5 speed. Are you sure it was? Are you certain that the machine was being shifted? I just can't see that big V-Twin in a full off racer that's why the auto seems more easy to believe. Thanks.

I'm not sure myself what type of tranny it has. By the time I pulled my head out and figured out what I was looking at, it was almost too late. The one thing I would say about the whole thing is that they don't send a team of mechanics, riders, support people, etc. and an expensive concept bike half way aroud the world if they don't plan on putting it into production. If they were just goofing around with "project", as one of the guys in their camp said, they could do it alot cheaper in Japan. According to DirWheels, Kawi seems to be getting ready to release this thing. I'd like to think that my accidental discovery hurried the process a bit, but who knows?

As far as riding the thing around, they went balistic about us taking pictures as it was. We came very close to going to blows over it. This happened durring our summer vacation, so after a while we went back to the more urgent needs of riding, lounging and drinking!
