I have a DG RC on my mojave right now. it runs alot better than the stock pipe but it is painfully loud. What would be better performance wise the white bros e-series or the supertrapp ids2. I'm sure either or will be better on the neighbors ears.

I have had the DG also-it sounded like crap! I have both the quiet series and race core from Supertrapp. I run the race core now and it is almost as loud as the DG, but it sounds a whole lot better. When I had the quiet series in, I left it open-w/no discs-it had a nice rumble, but nowhere near as loud. I don't have any experience w/White Bros., but I have heard and read that it is a quality product. I also was checking WB out before I decided on the Supertrapp. SP comes with a headpipe-that's why I went that way.

I recently read a article about dyno testing of aftermarket pipes on a 400EX.
What I seen was the white bros maid a fraction more top end hp, while the super trapp made more mid range hp.
It's possible for one to make more on the top as another makes more in the mid.

Both systems are top quality, and for poeple like me, I prabably couldn't notice the difference.
And to be honest niether could the test riders of that 400EX, thats why they went to the dyno.
