lakota airbox

Has anyone removed the airbox off the lakota and put a clamp-on filer on

No I haven't,and don't realy want to for water reasons.

Have you tried removing the snorkle cap from under your hood yet!

Hay have you ever hierd of a guy named chuck logan out your way.

I've trimed the cap but i havn't taken it off. i want to remove the airbox so it can rev higher. i've never herd of chuck logen

I'm with Gaff, if you ride in the water, don't get a pod filter. If you don't, give it a shot I'm sure you'll notice a diff. Be sure you always make sure it is "seated" correctly and keep it clean.

I've never really looked into it, but I wonder how hard it would be to adapt a 400ex air box. I sure wish someone in the aftermarket would make a nice replacement air box.

If you do go this way, I understand thiers a water proof outerwares that works pretty good.
I also understand that you have to make a special Request for this outerwares.

The guy who talked about it said it would work pretty good through pudles and some mud, but he also said he would kill the engine going through streams at times.
