Mojave vs. Lakota Sport? Which is better?

Hey all:
Please forgive my ignorance...
After about 10 years of NO riding, now 26 (and student loans PAID!), I felt it was the right time to get back into it.
I just bought a 1997 Mojave (my 3rd bike - after a ATC 250x and a Quadrunner 125).
After going through these boards and others on the internet, I noticed that the 290 Lakota Sport and the 250 Mojave have the same MSRP...
Which is better? The Mojave is DOHC vs Lakota's SOHC, but the Lakota has 40cc's more. Which is more reliable, faster, and better handling.
Why would Kawasaki put out 2 sport bikes at the exact same price with different cc's?
I hope I made the right decision with the Mojave.
Could someone with experience or knowledge of both ease my mind?
Thanks in advance!
Ken

What do you intend to use it for? I haven't ridden a Lakota, but hear they are great machines. On the other hand, I Love My Mojave! I am currently rebulding it, and it will be even better then it was before. If ya got it at a good price then sure you got a great deal, I would not want the Lakota ONLY because of the manual clutch. Other than that, looks good.
