Does any one make a hi rev CDI box for a mojave???
What can I do to get more low end out of it????

 

Get a KLR250 black box from a Kawie dealer. Best thing for more low-end is low-end cams and a pipe.

 

The KLR box is about $300. I had mine modified by Four Stroke Tech for $80 you also need stronger valve springs then. I also had FST port/polish my head, install new springs. I then installed a 11.5:1 wiseco piston, main jet change to 143, Uni air filter, Supertrapp IDS pipe, 50/50 mix of 93/108 octane gas. These changes made a huge difference and the power is better every where. It cost me about $750. Black box mod basiclly just raises the rev limiter therefore having a positive effect on the top end. I'm pretty sure the only difference in the KLR box is a higher rev limit.

 

The KLR black box changes the timing and rev-limiter. The KLR black box is recomended because it changes the timing and powercurve where a modifing a stock one doesn't.
