hey'
i got to tell you all, the tires on the new grizzly are terrible too. i think they just put them on to save us weight. i am gunna be ordering the goodyear mudrunners for my bike, probibally 26 in. as for shifting, the sportsman 500 and the grizzly do the same thing. at least my friends sportsman and my grizzly do. it isn't bad, i just wiggle it a little with my butt, and it goes!

Hi Nyroc,
Your machine is very impressive. Just to let you know, I will be purchasing a Prairie 650 sometime this year. I may wait until the 2003 models are out. I ridden one for the first time about a month ago and was very impressed. I also like your wheels and tires that are in your video. Can you tell me what the price is on these wheels and tires? I will be sure to purchase these as soon as I buy my machine.
Thanks,
IronBear

I finally got my 650 in some gooey mud this weekend with its stock tires and now I see why you guys are buying different mud tires. This mud was so nasty that when I stepped into it, I sank to just below my knee. It would try to suck your boots off as ya pulled your leg out. I really don't think any mud tire would have helped in this stuff because it was thick enough to suspend the quad high in dry on the floor boards and the tires would just spin n sling mud. It was great fun though. I got to at least try out the warn winch several times.

The Kawasaki 650 shafts are very strong, I jump mine alot and it holds up fine.I also hear people say the plastic is thin. It may be thin but it isnt weak. I have rolled mine a few times with no cracks yet, I only broke my mirror.I have had the 650 since 6/01, and have over 1000 miles of very hard riding. No problems so far. You can see pics of the 650 jumping & mudding on my website.
