Kawlaris,
Your machine looks really good with those tires! They look like they give more clearance and have a good bite on the tire. I'm not a fan of Mudrunners, because of what I have seen them do, but they do look really good. One of the best looking setups on a 650 that I have seen.

Roofer,

What do you mean by "I'm not a fan of Mudrunners, because of what I have seen them do"...what exactly have you seen them do or not do that makes you dislike them?

Thanks

I saw them on a Sportsman 500HO that rode with me last spring. I wasn't impressed how they went through the mud. Could easily have been the rider or the machine. They seemed a little heavy for what they could do in the mud. Besides that the price bothers me. I haven't had a good Goodyear tire on any trucks I have had that lasted very long either. Seems like you pay for the Goodyear name for the most part. I'm not saying they are bad (especially since I haven't had them) but I just think there is better out there for the money than Mudrunners.

Well, we'll see what the 26" mudrunners are really made of this weekend! My brothers getting 27" titan 589 M/T's on his 650 this week. We'll be putting them up head to head in the mud and trails. It's going to be 26" versus 27" but that won't make a night and day difference.

Kawlaris,
Did you get a chance to take those measurements?
Thanks.

In upgrading my tires, and not going with the 26" Mudrunners, what would anyone recommend for a good all around tire...one that would satisfy what I am looking for in the beginning of this post?

Sorry for so many questions...just don't want to spend the loot and find out they are not what I am looking for. Thanks for everyones info.

kawlaris,
Let us know how the Mudrunners and 598's compare. I just got prices on both of them and am not sure which tire I want for my 650. Which perform better in mud, trails, high and low speeds. Thanks.

I think that I will be getting the ITP c-series Aluminum wheels, does anyone have these on their 650?

On My site under the PICS link I just put up shots of my Gators close up and what the quad looks like. Also in the photos above them Crashman is riding with 589s on stock wheels also. If you look at the banner at the top the quads setting there the camo'd one has a 27" bigwheel kit on the quad. I will post pictures of it soon on my site. I have dial up and it is slow so please be patient guys. The gators cost only 52 a piece here and they are 6 ply and run 7 psi air.
