does anyone out there have the Highlifter system on their 650. If so I would like to know how it has changed the performance of your machine and I also need to know how much of a change the lift made on all of the drivetrain angles. I would like to put one on my machine but I don't want to turn my 650 into an axle breaker.

I have it all, lift, 28 inch outlaws, Hmf exhaust, jetkit, k&n airfilter. I tell people that I fell im unstopple when im on my 650. sure at first with the lift and tires it felt higher off the ground but like I said it felt unstopple. there is no strain on the axles with lift that I can see.

What "width" 28" Outlaws did you get? They just recommended the 9.50's for the front and 10.50's for the rear with a 1" lift. I do a lot of snow plowing with mine. They also said I needed spacer on at least the rear to prevent rubbing. Do you have spacers"?

How about front & rear springs, has anyone changed theirs to the heavy duty units?

I have 9.5 in the front and 12.5 in the rears, also I have a highlifter lift kit. the tires are mounted on my stock rims. I don't need wheel spacers in the rear or in the front. I did have to cut my inside fender well out a little. as I know no one has made any stiffer front springs or rear but I have not looked for a while.

I've been told that kawasaki has stiffer front and rear springs that can be readily purchased for heavy hauling, plowing, etc. I also asked one of the dealers, and he knew absolutely nothing about it.

How do the 28" Outlaws work in the snow? I've had MudRunners in the past on my SP500.

I heard of the stiffer springs for the 400 Prairie's but not the 650, I could be wrong. the outlaws kick a$$ in the snow work almost like a paddle track on a snowmobile.

I'll bet the 400 springs might work. I have since heard that there are a couple of aftermarket companies coming out with springs and one will have an adustable strut setup before too long. That's something that the Polaris SP500 needed a long time ago. I used heavier springs and spring rubbers to get it where I liked it.

i have the lift kit from HL on my quad, and it really helps.

the 400 springs wont fit on the 650, but the preloads will, and progressive should have a spring kit for the 650 in a few months.
