octane rating?

just curious what others are running in their quads? i was running 87 but i am going to try 91. i had power questions (wheelie power), i wonder if that had something to do with it?

I don't think the octane number matters in your wheeling problem, not to be rude but its the rider not the machine.

octane rating just denotes stability... i higher octane will have a lesser propencity to pre-detonate. if your runing stock compression then the 91 should be ok

The suggested octane rating is fine.
Were say a mix of race gas and pump gas would come into play is were high humidity areas are used it helps and also if heat is a problem, as race fuel does burn cooler.
I live in louisiana were the humidity stays quite high most of the year as well as the heat and if you inquire with sanoco or whom ever they will tell you are type conditions you would see better performance and an actual cooler engine temps.
For the most part pump fuel is best, unless you raise your compression.
