I was wondering if anyone would have any idea of a problem that developed today while I was riding through mud. I had it in 4wd and I had the differential lock lever pulled in, after I came out of the mud the quad was very difficult to steer. It kept pulling real hard to the right the left. It was like the differential lock is still on even though I put it in 2wd. It still pulls the same way in 4wd, but just alot harder in 4wd mode. It feels like the power is being shifted from one front wheel to another. Don't know why this would do this in 2wd mode. I haven't had the time yet to check it out but I looked at it on the trail where the cable goes into the front end and it looked like it was turning about a quarter of a turn with the lever. Also the sound coming from right side of the motor when you turn it off is not normal since this problem. Instead of being a steady sound now it sounds like it chirping for about 10 or 15 times. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dennis

When you pull the front diff control lever it locks the front wheels in positive traction whether you're in 4WD or 2WD. It sounds like your locker cable is stuck or the lever on the front diff is hung up with mud or sticks. I don't know about the change in sound, but mine sounds like it's winding down when I cut engine off.
