I almost forgot to tell you. The reason I wrecked my 500ho was when I hit a more vertical part of the hill font wheels lifted rear end (irs) squated and she came back right on top of me. That was the only time I had any thing bad to say about IRS rear ends.

I settled with the insurance company and now have a Silver 2002 Sportsman which will be delivered next Wednesday. Settled for $6,778.75 including damaged accesseries. Thanks for everyone sharing advice dealing with the insurance company.

Yes. $6474 out the door from the dealer. Allied Powermart (Conroe, Tx) is FIRST CLASS! Same price as I paid for my 2001!!!! I get the machine Wedneday.

Yes. My neighbor has a Kawi 650 and I test rode the Sporstsman 700. If the Kawi had independant rear suspension I would have bought one (same price $6400). The 700 was too much $$$$ ($800 more). The Kawi and the two Sportsmans were the only mchines I liked. Also, the local Kawi dealer is an A$$ and my Polaris dealer is excellent. The dealer makes a difference.
I HIGHLY RECOMEND INSURANCE.
