Thinking about a 330 kit?

Ever want more? You know... change the sprocket, then the pipe, add a jet kit and filter. Still lacking? Try the FST 330 kit! I just finished the break-in and removed the throttle stop. Yeeee- F'n-Haaa! It felt like I was on a new machine. I have a little flat spot right off of idle but mid power kicks in like a 2 stroke power band. Although the mod was a bit pricey ($450), I'd do it again in a heartbeat! The next move is to get the power to the ground, a set of Razors should do the trick!

The kits alot of fun isn't it, I fought that little flat spot as well. When I was all said and done I found that my main jet went back to the same size as before the bore kit.
I fought the low end alot before I gave in and started going down on the main. I tried messing with the needle alot, then the air/fuel mixture screw. But when I came down on the main the bottom got better and better with every main change.
The mid range and top are just so good you have to try and come up threw the rev quick to get to that spot were it gives a good power range.
The tires make for a big difference. You don't realize how much power loss is in those stock tires. The razzors and hole shot XCT's are a fine tire, both realy hook up as well. I had gotten the rear shreaders do to availability isn't there for the other two kinds, at the time of my purchase. I have no problems with the shreaders as of yet, but the side walls are nothing like the XCT's
I seen you asked about the tires and rims. The aluminum wheels are nice and work well. The after market tires side walls stick out a good bit to protect the rims. If you get the choice between the 10" and 9" I would have to say go with the 9". The smaller rim will be a bit stronger and thier is a much better tire salection for 9" rims.
Stick with the 20" rears as they are 3 pounds lighter than the 22's each. This will help in accelleration.
I removed the snorkle from my air box to see if I would like it. Althugh I think a clamp on is the only way to go. Stebob went riding with vulcdog, who has a clamp on, and he said he couldn't believe the water they went threw without any problems from that clamp on.
Sunday I'll be running a open class SX race, I'll let you know how the 330 does against the big bores.
