My Girlfriends StepDad bought one awhile back(an '00)

ITS TOUGH!!! Between all his spoiled kids- that thing has been beat to death, and still works good. Not the strongest motor around- but super DEPENDABLE.

Defenatly Dependanble, ive pounded mine for the last 2-3 years and its has been flawless except for a u joint and right side wheel bearing because i like to ride on 2 side wheels.... I have no trouble keeping up with the bigger guys (except for a P650) Its is a awesome mudder, climbs hills good, can take on alot of water, nice for trail rides.

I had a 98 300 4x4 for a couple years ago. It was my first machine and I thought it was great. I beat the crap out of it. Its amazing that you could put that machine in the air with a 220lb person on it. I never had any trouble with it either. If the price is right I saw go for it.

The Bayou's reputation for dependability is rock solid and in my opinion, unmatched by any other ATV manufacturer. I challenge anyone to name an ATV model that has remained virtually untouched after almost 13 years of production. "

A Bayou may be simple and slow, but it will always get you where you want to go."
