I went to my dealer today to buy 2 grease seal to install in my driven pulley (secondery clutch ), the side without the shaft has 2 grease seal. In order to make a good job, you have to install new grease seal.
Imagine KAWASAKI are not selling those grease seal you have to buy half of the driven pulley (secondery clutch) and I won't tell you the price of this part ! ! !
If somebody tell me what is the solution to this problem let me know ..........Thank you in advance

I read this post like 6 times and still I don't understand what you are asking! Try reediting the message so it is readable.
We all make typo's and misspell words but this is ........

man WTF are u trying to say , are u some 9year old or somthing,u cant spell for S-H-I-T (and i thought i was a bad speller)LOL

Relax, english is not his first language.

From what I can make of it, he is trying to grease his driven pulley, to do this he needs to take out the seals and put the grease in then reinstall the seals, but he wants new seals. He says kawasaki doesnt sell these seals without selling half of the driven pully assembly.

RyGuy660 Jun 8, 2002 12:54 PM

Both of you need to back off a little on the poor guy. If you take the time to read the whole post it says he is french. So unless you feel up to responding to this post en francais (in french) without a typo, I suggest you give the poor guy a break. He's come to the forum for help with a legitimate question and the best you can come up with is some digs about the language. If you cant say something nice.......

He says; I went to my dealer today to buy two grease seals to install in my drive pulley (clutch?). The side without the shaft has two seals and in order to do a proper job both should be replaced. Imagine, Kawasaki does not sell these seals idividually and if you want them you have to buy half the drive train and the cost is prohibitive. If anyone has an alternative solution, (automotive market equivilent, aftermarket part, etc.) I would appreciate you letting me know.

There, I hope I dumbed it down enough for you guys, I know there are a few three and four sylable words to deal with, but what are you gonna do........?

NorthernEdge Jun 8, 2002 01:33 PM

Actually I don't think anyone had any "digs" with his language! I overlooked the fact that he is from Canada and probably speaks French.... My Bad!
RyGuy, perhaps you should chill!
The part where he said he was French was edited in after I replied to the post.
Concours I apologize!

So this is not a dig? What do you call it? People that comment on other peoples spelling are morons, plain and simple. Some people have learning problems, some, like this case, don't speak english as a first language. Lighten up guys.
Northern, you post was not that out of line. You asked him to try to type it so you could read it better. But the one I quoted, that one is out of line. Period.

Hey Concours,,,is it possible to get the numbers off of the seals without removing them?If you can, you might be able to match them up with new seals at a bearing distrubutor.

Lurch77 Jun 8, 2002 08:37 PM

If there are part numbers on them, check with a place such as NAPA for a cross reference. Hopefully you will get lucky. Either way, let us know what becomes of this.

All right, I apologize to Northern edge. I guess I get a litle out of sorts when I see someone come to us for help and they get the kind of bullsh*t that Mojavebrat13 is spewing. So to Northern Edge; sorry. As far as Mojave goes;
