Gaff dont do it, I know the bike looks nice now but once you own it youll miss the lakota! Well on second thought maybee im just bitter i didnt wait 6 months before I bought my Lakota I would be riding around on a new kawi 400. I will start tomorrow breaking it to the wife and getting my plan together on passing the Lakota down to her. I think i can pull it off it will just take some time. lol
My son will be happy about the 50cc bike i will definantly be buying that for him when it comes out.
Well Gaff you better start lining out Rocky mountain atv on after market parts so when us other guys do get our 400's you can let us know what to get!

I realy wish I could keep the lakota, it's going to be tough to let her go. We all spend so many hours and days trying to re-invent the wheel on our quads just to squeeze out 1 more pony.
Lucky for me all my spare parts will fit the bayou 250, so thats not a loss.
Every weekend I'm home we spend at a race track. The lakota has been treating me to a real resurgence of my love for the sport. It has been a fun and very faithfull quad to me, so it isn't that easy letting her go.
I have been bashed by my own family on my age and the little machine that I ride. But in south louisiana no one laughs any more. Just one look at the trouphie's the lakota and I have up on the wall kinda puts every one in thier place.
In The real world thow I can floor a bone stock KFX and have better handling and power. Not to mention The wieght lifting program I go threw every night just to win the wrestling match me and the lakota have on sundays. It will kinda be nice having the lighter machine. What I realy hope is it made me a better stronger rider so the new KFX won't take as long to learn how to ride as the lakota did.
Man I have to learn how to ride with a clutch again.
So the 16th will be my final race on the kota, I'll try to get plenty of pictures and post them. I've let all the guys here and at home know so we should have one he!! of a going away party for her.
