2002 Lakota Sport Seat Color
#1
Just picked-up my wife's Lakota Sport last night, and I was suprised to find out that it has a grey/charcoal colored seat. All the brochures show the seat color as black (like my Mojave). The dealer knew nothing about what the color was supposed to be, and blew the whole thing off. They had the quad shipped to the dealership from a distribution center in Illinois. If the seat is supposed to be black, I'll have to make a phone call to Kawasaki to have this corrected. Thanks!!

it's black thats for sure.
On all our bikes and quads with black seats, there is some type of protectant on them. When they get waet they show spots of grey, but never full grey. Kinda like armor all does when you get it wet.
But they are all deffinately black.

Thanks for your reply Gaff. I went to the 'view parts diagram' area of Kawasaki's web site, and they call out a silver seat for the 2002 Lakota. The 2001 Lakota however calls out a black seat. I guess they must have changed it between the 2 model years.

they must have some black and some silver then. I see a few 02 mosels at the dealer all the time and never realy payed that close attention, but thought I would notice. Or maybe those are 01 models and they are just idiots as always
