We just changed the oil in our 650 and how are you suppose to check to oil level. With the dip stick all the way in or just so the treads line up.
When we start the bike there is a electrical sound and it happens sometimes when giving it gas. Is this a normal sound?
Sometimes when slacking off the gas it will backfire how do i fix this?

-Check it when the dipstick is screwed in.
-The KEBC motor, on the black CVT belt cover by right foot, makes noise every time you let off the gas going slow to give you engine brakin at slow speeds. It is kind of a whirring sound, and you can hear it when the engine is off and you turn the key on and off.

-Backfires are typically cause by the idle set to lean. The idle mixture is set by adjusting the air screws (right side, exactly at the bottom of each float bowl). You may want to try turning them to the left 1/2 turn or so. It is possible that they aren't turned evenly. If you feel like it, turn them all the way in and try it at 2-3/4 turns out. If it stalls on a hot day steamy day in the water, they may be out too far. If it does not idle well on a cold day, it may be lean.
