While doing my post-race inspection, I found another crack in my swingarm. I have welded the brake side of the swing arm 2 or 3 times and I ended up putting a reinforcement plate on it and haven't had any problems with it since. This time it was the sprocket side. It cracked the same place it did on the other side, right around the tubes that hold the shock mount.

I just thought I would let all the Lakota owners know so they could be lookin for this. I think I will end up putting a reinforcement on this side as well. (Until I can build or have built a new one) I sure wish the aftermarket companies would offer a swingarm.

Lurch had told me the same thing happen to him some time ago. I have been checking mine faithfully and to be honest after some of these woop sections or table tops it kinda surprises me that it's even back there any more.

I remember lurch having 3 different swing arms at one time, check with him he may know where to get one.

The track we raced on Sunday was very rough, so the crack really doesn't suprise me. I'm afraid putting a MO swingarm on it would make it too wheelie happy. Maybe someone could hook me up with someone who could build me a new one

I believe if there is a after market mojave swing arm you would need a +1 to be the same size as a lakotas swing arm. I know lurch had +12 and +4 swing arms he may still be selling. If not who ever he was getting them from could hook you up.

Thier is a ton of poeple who could make them, it just cost a fortune unless they already have been selling them. Contact lurch he should be able to hook you up.

The cost is the main thing holding me back right now. I will probably just reinforce mine and hope for the best.

That was a +2 not a plus 12.

Like I said call lurch, he may still have one.
