Has anyone tried Silkolene foam filter oil. I just got a twin air filter and all the dealer had in stock was Silkolene. Anyone have any experience with it? It seems so tacky that it would clog the filter.

Can't say that I have. Did use PJ1 spray. Now use Maxima FFT. I like it much better because you just pour a little on the filter in several places & squeeze it through and any extra can squeeze right back in the bottle. This is just a recomendation incase you don't like the new stuff. Come back & give us the pros & cons after you try it out if you will. Thanks!

I don't really care for it. With the recommendation of my dealer I bought the bottle of oil instead of the spray and put it in a pump sprayer. It is so tacky that it still comes out of the sprayer in a stream and not a spray. It probably does a good job of stopping dust but it is so thick and tacky that it is very hard to apply an even coat of oil across the filter. I think I am going to be looking for something a little easier to work with.

MDG, You might want to try PJ1 foam filter treatment in the bottle. It is thinner than the Maxima FFT. I don't know how it compares to what you are using.
