What ATV is it for? If it is for your Mohave, then doesn't your signature say you have a supertrapp? Both the DG and cobra would be a downgrade. I don't like either pipe, and there are many better choices out there IMO. Supertrapps are one of the quieter aftermarket pipes.

This is just a guess, but I have heard both pipes on street bikes & they sound about the same. I THINK the DG has a better fit & finish!

I had the DG for my Mojave (RCM not Chrome) and I sent it back the first day I got it. 4 out of the 6 nuts that hold the disks in place broke from their welds the night I put it on. It also sounded like thin metal crap. This is just my opinion from personal experience.
I firmly believe that you get what you pay for and if your dad wants to spend any money on his Mo, do it right the first time and go with the Supertrapp.
I did have a Cobra on a street bike I had and it sounded pretty good, but from what I have read on the forums here, I would stay away from them.
As far as rejetting, it depends on how many disks you choose to use, as I am sure you already know from your Supertrapp.
The Supertrapp quiet series is a really good pipe that is not as loud in my opinion-I had that before getting the race core.

at rocky mountain the IDS2 is pretty cheap. The quiet series with 6 to 8 disc is very quiet just throaty when you get on it.
Your only talking about $40 difference between those cheap pipes and one that realy complaments the moe well.

dont get a cobra cant you get things through like rocky mountain atv for cheap i know you would have to deal with the exchange and all but at the curent exchange rate it would be like paying 325 US and that is what we all have to pay too so it isnt any more expensive in canada your dollar is just worth less
