Well, neither bike would be new & I am sure that they are not stock. So you have to make that choice for yourself. Just pick the one that suits you. Both are good, some like the Kawie & some like the R. I personally like the R better, but again it depends on the condition of each!

The tecate 4 was faster than the 250r, but the 250r supposed handles better. There are tons more aftermarket stuff for the 250r and used parts are much more available. If you want to stand out in a crowd, then get a tecate.

Get the tecate. I had one sold it made the biggest mistake of my life. Well maybe not the biggest but pretty big. The tecate is a blast to ride and never had it beat by a R. Just my .02 cents

I think the T4 is a great quad, but 92LT is right. It a bitc- finding parts for the T4. That is the one thing I hate about the T4. You'll be happy with either. Its all about preference and what price you can get either for. Test ride both and you'll know which you like better.
Good luck

Kind of a vague question....

Acceleration? T-4.
Handling/motoX? 250R

What will you be using it for, recreational riding and goofing around, or racing?
If racing, drag racing, or Moto X?

Or are you just bored and wanted to post something and dont have any intentions on getting either?

It's a no-brainer as far as which one to buy if you want to ride it. The Hondas have about every part available with little to no hassle. The T4 is faster stock, but who has a stock R. The T4 is a great machine, but I'd get the Honda and avoid the hassle. There are probably 500 R's out there to 1 running T4, and this may be a bit conservative.

you go ahead and take the safe route and get a 250R and be like the other 500 to 1 tecate riders.
or dare to be different and set yourself from the crowd and buy a 250r azzkickin tecate.like mine.

KillerKX,
I appreciate your enthusiasm for your machine and I'm sure it's fast, but your azzkicken T4 I'm sure is no faster than a modded R. If it's got the 500 engine, I'm sure it's faster. A 250R with a CR500 motor in it would likely kickazz on a 250 T4 also. The SMART money is on the 250R, because people actually know what they are and aren't afraid to buy them when you want to get rid of it.
