hey my friend wants to purchase a bayou 250 possibly. how are these quads and do they run well? whats some faults and what are some good things about them. he wants to ride hilly, rough terrain but wants to stay at a low price and still go new. he is about 6 feet and doesnt weigh much. thaks.

 

The pros of this quad are its very dependable,its great for its money and can go threw anything except the real deep mud and snow. The cons are its speed and size. He should fit ok on it. I dont know to much about it but the top speed is about 45mph. You can ride it aggresively without problems. Well hope this helped alittle. for 6ft he may want to try something bigger tho possibly a 300cc quad?

 

thanks for the input. he said he would probably go for another exhaust, jet it, air filter and different tires.

 

o yea another quick question. who makes an ehaust for this quad and how much would it be?
