i have decided t get a kfx400. but i dont know when they are coming out. if they are coming out too late, then i will just get the z400. i would rather have the kawasaki because kawaski is better, even if it is the same machine. so will anyone please tell me when the kfx is coming out.

Not to sound condescending or anything, but if you think that the KXF400 will be any better than the Z400, you've got a few screws loose. They are the exact same bike!!! Buy the Suzuki, and then get yourself a set of Kawasaki plastics for it. But...now that I think about it, green is better than yellow. LMAO!!!!!

i realize that they are the same bike, but i am a die-hard kawasaki fan. i wouldnt buy any other bike unless it wasnt coming out for at least 3 months. and about the service..... the dealer by my house is a kawaski and suzuki dealer so that makes no differnce

I read somewhere that the kfx will have different suspension than the z. It will have the same travel but it will have different settings. So the z and kfx aren't EXACTLY the same.

Hi dangerousrider400,

Thanks,

I went to suzuki' and kawi's website and pulled up the specs on each. Comparing the specs, they are slightly different, however I think in reality they will be the same. Sure look the same to me in the pictures too.

ironbear, sterling is south of killingly. it is the most south town in windham county on the east of ct. if you dont know where killingly is, the other towns around it are brooklyn and plainfield. just south of sterling is norwich. if you need to know more, just let me know.

and to 92lt, the black hood of the kfx looks like it could come off and be all green. could you also list the other differnces that you see in the specs and other sources. thanks

wy would you buy the z400 then spend about another $600 for plastic too make it look like a kfx when you could just buy the kfx.
