unfortunately chris jetting will be required with a mufler and/or filter.

Jet kit, IDS2, K&N filter and 13T front sprocket is $300 delivered to your door. You can save about $30 by replacing the K&N filter with a uni filter. Many have a prefference between filters, I just say replace that stock one with any of them. The stock one stinks.

Doing those basic mods makes a huge difference. Best $300 you will ever spend.

I have seen the lakota on sale here for $3300 for a very long time. Keep this in mind when they try to give you the $4100 retail price. I got my for just under $3600 out the door.

I would get the mojave because it is not clumsy, and it is not slow , it is low matinance, easy to ride ,the mojave is good in the mud ive gone 2-3 feet of mud it makes it fine.

goto it it is the one you desire.

the mojave is the better of the too. Speen performance topend all goes to the mojave and also for 2003 the lakota is being taken off the line. the mojave is reliabel. the only problem with the mojave is the cams and valves have to be check very couple of monthes of the engin will frieze up and the timing will slip killing the engine. Other than that the mojave is a exalent quade

The lakota is not slow. Where we ride the auto clutch is neccesary. We chase up hare and hound trails Arkansas Dirt Riders developed. It's really tight. Riding style and body weight have a lot to do the the quads performance. I'm old i need the button. I also like the smooth power. Don't let it fool ya. The lakotas are waaayy underrated.

i was deciding on buying a lakota or mojave too. i ended up getting the lakota because they still had the previous years model and i could get it alot cheaper than the mojave. i love my lakota. some of my friends i ride with have 250Rs and when we ride they are always ahead of me but they don't embaras me. the lakota is very easy to ride and i feel very comfortable goin fast through rough dessert terrian. when i have rode my friends 250R it was very fast but because of the wicked power band it wasn't as comfortable as the lakota. that probably just takes getting used to though. what i'm saying is that a lakota can hang right up there with alot of the more expensive quads like 300ex and warrior for example. one thing i regret sometimes though about getting the lakota instead of the mojave is that parts are easier to find for a mojave than the lakota. also sometimes while do hillclimbs i wish i had the manual clutch so i wouldn't have to get off the gas and lose momentum when the front end comes up with the manual i could just slip the clutch in a little bit and keep the motor reving

antix-any frame/suspension parts that you find for the Mojave will fit your 'kota. Besides the 1" longer swingarm you have it's all the same there-hope that helps a little in finding stuff.
