a few questions before I get a new prarie 650
#1
I have been quad shopping for a while and I think Im going to get a leftover 2002 Prarie 650. I can get it for $6900 out the door, this includes freight/setup & 6% sales tax.Does this sound like a good deal? Is there anything I should be aware of before buying this quad?Problems, etc? Anything I should get the dealer to do to the quad before I pick it up? Does Kawasaki ever offer a free winch or anything else that I should wait for? The quad has been at the dealer for a while and Im sure if Kawasaki was to offer a free winch deal in a week or so (new month)I could wait.I know yamaha is offering their winch deal again already. Thanks

Howdy,
that sounds a little high to me. I bought mine a year ago for $6147. I didnt pay any taxes. I used a ranch exemption. As for the quality of the machine, you will be surprised how trouble free it will be if it is like mine. I have 1350 miles on mine and it was in the shop at 1000 miles for a belt adjustment. Other than that it has been trouble free. The black plastic is thin and brittle. Mine is splitting but it has really seen some harsh treatment. I wish you the best with what ever your choice is!!!!!Text
