Hey guys, I just got back from a ride. Still love this machine!! Anyway, While I was out, I went into a mud hole in 2WD, got stuck and switched to 4WD. The quad would still move a little so I know that it went into 4WD. I made it out of the hole no problem. Then when I looked down at the "dash"... My 2WD and 4WD lights are switching back and forth. Quad runs fine, but the lights are flashing back and forth. Anyone have any idea? I was thinking the actuator?

i found it in my owner's manual. pg 38. it says flashing 2wd/4wd indicator lights signal a malfunction of the kawasaki engine brake control system or the selectable 2wd/4wd system.
a flashing interval of 0.5 seconds indicated a malfunction with the 2wd/4wd actuator, a 1 second interval indicated the K-EBC actuator is malfunctioning, a 2 seconds interval is both actuators malfunctioning. its on pg 38 if u want it again.

Well, my P650 is in the shop. The K-EBC actuator motor completly died, it wasn's making any noise at all when the key was truned on or off, or any other time for that matter. It is covered under the warrenty so my dealer is fixing it. They are also checking my belt(replacing if needed), and adjusting the valves. I feel that I have lost power and I am trying to get it back.
