maybe you should ask this in uh maybe the HONDA FORUM.but let me take a guess ummm they are the same quad just differant year models so I would say the sporttrax sence it is newer.

same quad just with a different name, teh sportrax is since its newer.

Same machine but for 01 if im right they decided to change the name.
