the spark plug on my boys mojave wont come out with the wrench that kawi gives you in the tool kit. i cant find a thinwall/deepwell socket that fits it either. it bottoms out on the head casting before it reaches the plug.
this is a stock machine and the first time in 2 years that i ever wanted to remove the plug, so its the original,no mods. i cant be the only one whos had this problem.
any ideas?

I had the same problem. I took a 11/16 deepwell socket and ground the sides down till it fit then I welded a 1/4" rod to the top so it worked like a T handle. it worked for me. good luck with yours

one more thing as said in the other sparkplug thread. BE SURE TO CLEAN AROUND THE PLUG WITH COMPRESSED AIR BEFORE YOU TAKE THE PLUG OUT..

I bought a thin walled deep-well 18mm popular popular mechanics socket, and a stuby 3/8 drive ratchet and it fits like a glove...I bought them from WalMart. Also if you can start the quad, run it for a minute or two this will let the head heat up and expand.....be careful it may be hot (LOL).
