I saw the new KXF 400 yesterday. Sitting right next to a couple of Z's. I don't know why, but it just looks better green. The only physical difference I saw, (without getting under it) was the front nose piece over the headlights. It is a seperate cowl on the Kawi. I really wish it was an actual Kawi and not a re-badged Suzuki. They quoted me 5699. I told them I would take it for that out the door, no dice. Total price is 6300. They also sell Honda's and they had a lot of 400EX's, a whole lot! They would let me have an EX for 6200! They had a Z400 w/ Yoshi pipe and a whole lot of bolt ons for 8 grand! I told them I would give them that if it was faster than my wife's R! They are claiming 100MPH with the pipe and jetting! Gimme a break.

 

I was quoted 5900 out the door.

thay would only give me 1500 for my 2000 mojave, i'll said forgot that i just keep it.

 

i stopped in a local Kaw dealer saturday to pick up a KX clutch lever perch(they were out) and noticed they had one(kfx400) as well... they tried to sell me on it, but i'm not buying... for now.

 

Does anybody Know the actual lowest point of ground clearance on the KFX 400 ? Kawasaki's web site says 10 inches but the can't be from the axle I'm curious to know ..... I think its about 4 inches...any one know?
