On the ends of each hose is a metal clamp that has a flat head secrew on it. Take a flat head screwdriver and turn it right. You will have to take the front plastic off the front to get to some of them.

Ok, what is up with you PackardBell???????????

It seems like you aren't a mechanic, but you play one on TV..... so you putz around with the 650 constantly!

Why don't you leave such problems to the dealer? They are the ones that are trained to work on such machines... and they have ALL the tools to do it right.

I'm sorry if I am a little forward here (not that you aren't used to it or anything ) but I have a funny feeling that 6-12 months in the future you will be on this forum badmouthing the 650 when it probably was your fault for not doing things the right way..... I understand that you really want to do it the right way yourself when we all know if you took it in to your dealer you'd be better off.

I apologized for being forward about it, but doesn't it make sense???????

I have a couple of questions then

1. Did you buy the machine from a dealer, if so how long ago? If you did, and it is within 6 months or a year (can't remember) everything is covered under warranty!

2. Did you get a manual with your 650? If you do.... READ IT and you can spare the members the time to answer questions that are easily located in the manual

I am all about trying to help people, but it seems like you post just for the sake of posting sometimes (if you do not understand, refer to the "Isn't the Rincon ugly" thread)

Well, if you think I am being rude... then just look at some of your previous posts!

At least I know what I am talking about.... and I base things on factual information!

Once again, I'm sorry I am being like this, but I am venting

I see the "let's start over again" idea lasted a whole 2 days!!!!!

You have no place to bash the Polaris.... it is a decent machine that will go through a lot more mud than the Kawi (until the big tires get put on it) As a matter of fact the polaris took a hole in 2wd that the Kawi got stuck in with 4wd and the diff locked last weekend - this is due to the lower clearence and nothing more mind you, it got high centered (which will be cured with bigger tires)

the polaris has just eaten a bunch of belts and brakes.... now it has an all new clutch and works fine

The Kaw has a lot more zip... is fun to ride, and seems to be the superior all around machine so far
