Hello im looking for some rear aluminum wheels for my 2002 Kawasaki Lakota Sport 300.I recently was in an accident that bent my handlebars, rear axle, and rear wheels. So far ive installed a new Durablue Eliminator 2+2 axle and tried to fix the handlebars. The handlebars are bent and scratch,i was wondering if mojave handlebars fit the lakota cause on www.rockymountainatv.com they only sale for the mojave(MSR Eliminator handlebars)? Rockymountain also sales aluminum wheels but on the magazine or the internet they dont show for the Kawasaki Lakota Sport,do you have to specify when you call?

Almost any handlebars will fit, just find a bend you like and put them on. All of the companies that carry wheels will have (or be able to get) wheels to fit the Lakota. FYI, the lug pattern is 4 X 156MM.

Yes! I put Renthal 250R bend, silver, on my Lakota. I really like them. 98, is right, just about all them will fit. You may have to get different clamps if you're looking at Tag T2's or something. I don't think you would want to spend that kind of money, though. Check out the Renthal line. Very good bars. The other Renthal I looked at getting is the ATV bend. Rocky Mountain is prob. the best place to get the bars and the rims. The Doug. rims look sharp, too. Vlucdog had them on his. I want some myself.

Vlucdog,
I think I'm gonna go with a clamp on K&N real soon and do away with the air box altogether, like you did. After I saw the water you went through, I think it'll work out great. I don't like how the K&N fits in the stock air box. Just haven't spent any cash on it lately, but that will be the next thing I buy.

I got the atv high bend from moose in black. The black looks pretty cool too.

I don't have the wheels and probably going to wait until next year, need some shocks. Or maybe if some one see's 98lakota I'll give you a hundred bucks if you get his shocks to me

As of now I'm waiting on a cam job, so money seems to go every where except the darn wheels.

Hey, I recently got sprockets chain at Rockymountainatv.com for my mojave, at $40 pretty good price. Dennis kirk was $45. I thought this is a great place, and nice setup, till I click confirm order and it pops up You've just paid $11.75 shipping WOW, and the shippping was not great (6 days), denniskirk is here in 2-3 days, and shipping is free unless overnight.

Hey Gaff,

Get your own &@#^ shocks....

I really like my Works, but if I had it to do again, I would probably go with ELKA's. I have a friend with them on his 400EX front and rear, and they are nice.

mojave300ex,
I've delt with the many times and they realy have been straight up and honest, hope this is a 1 time case. Thier shipping is spot on. When you check out it's a estimated cost, when you recieve the parts it will have a invoice with actual cost. If you check your ups label the shipping is the only charge, no handling fee.

98lakota,
I think the works is all I can afford. If I remember rite the elka's are $500. We will see when the time comes. Just getting the money up for the cam is tough rite now, but I should have the new cam within 2 weeks.

I realy need the cam. Sense I went with 12:1 compression I lost all the over rev and the power is rite off idle. It seemed to make it a jetting nightmare. It seems rite but it gets hot as heck. Once it gets hot I can't get the clutch to hold like I want it.

I fugure a mid top cam will move the power way up and it will be alot easier to jet. And then I can probably get it a little fat for safety, not to mention the clutch will hold alot easier.
