KAWBAYOU185, I changed my name, THANK YOU KAWASAKI FOR OFFERING a sale, by the end of september, i will have ACTUALLY Purchased my first quad worth owning. I do have just one question and it is a tough one, i am definatelly doing one of these two and tell me what you would do.
THEIR DEAL IS EITHER:
0 DOWN PAYMENTS AND 0 INTEREST UNTIL APRIL 1ST 2003
OR
0 DOWN WITH PAYMENTS AS LOW AS 29/MO FOR THE FIRST YEAR (WHAT WOULD PAYMENTS ROUGHLY BE LIKE AFTER THE YEAR BY THE WAY)
so, which one should i do????

I would imagine that their new program is very similar to the old one. Interest rates were incredibly high after the initial intro period was over. IIRC it was as high as 26%. Use the intro program to purchase and either transfer it to another lower rate card later or pay it off before the real interest hits. Use a little common sense! Financing through a bank now will be much cheaper than either one of the Kawi programs if you can't afford to get the balance payed WAY down before the interest hits.

Right after I typed my original response I got a spam Email from Kawi explaining the new program.
Cut and pasted from the Email:
For the "$0 Down, $0 Payments, 0 Interest Until April '03" Program: Finance Charges will not be imposed on these purchases and payments will not be required until the April 2003 promotion expiration date indicated on your billing statement and your Account is kept current. Thereafter, the Minimum Monthly Payment will be the greater of $15 or 2.5% of the ”New Balance” plus any insurance charges (if applicable). Standard Rate 16.8% APR. For Accounts not kept current, the Default Rate of 20.8% APR will be applied to all balances on your Account. Minimum Finance Charge $1.00. Certain rules apply to the allocation of payments and finance charges on your promotional purchase if you make more than one purchase on your credit card. **For the "$0 Down and 2.99% APR Low Payments for 12 Months" program: A reduced rate of 2.99% APR is effective on these purchases for 12 months from date of purchase if your Account is kept current. The low Minimum Monthly Payment will apply during the 12 months promotional period if your Account is kept current. The amount of your total minimum payment will depend on additional purchases and your Account balances. Thereafter, the Minimum Monthly Payment will be the greater of $15 or 2.5% of the ”New Balance” plus any insurance charges (if applicable) at the Standard Rate of 16.8% APR. Payment of only the minimum monthly payment will not pay the balance on these purchases in 12 months. For Accounts not kept current, the Default Rate of 20.8% APR will be applied to all balances on your Account. Minimum Finance Charge $1.00. Certain rules apply to the allocation of payments and finance charges on your promotional purchase if you make more than one purchase on your credit card. I would take the no payments until april, In the mean time save money and try ot pay it off in April. If you don't have enough money to pay it off use what you saved towards the principil (sp?)and then get a loan from the bank.
I have the same oppurtunity through yamaha. they have no payments or interest for 6 months, I was looking around and trying to find the best deal then buy. When the six months were up I was going to pay it off in cash. I have recently decided to wait and buy the blue Grizzly in Canada and save money.
With all those cards you end up paying out your **** in interest.
