I would like to say that maybe I judged the rincon a bit too hastily..now that my buddy and I have had some saddle time I must say that.yes..it really is a nice machine, rides smooth as glass ..jury is still out on the tranny but it doesnt get wet like the p650..and it is nearly as fast as the kawi..even at takeoff..i dont kick it as bad as I had originally thought..

Have you ridin the rincon much I have a Honda 450ES and the suspension is a trochous. I would never give up my 650 but the rincon looks interesting. I have gone on runs with the 700 and it's not the bike for me. We went on roads that were dug across the middle to stop 4x4's from crossing. When the 700 went down it was fine but going up the other side it was farely steep and the 700 would almost flip over on itself very dangerous especially if you were not experienced. The 650 walked through it with no problem what so ever. In your opinion especially with the IRS rearend on the rincon would it do the same thing( wanting to flip over on itself). Here in Canada we wont see a rincon for another 6 months if we are lucky. Polaris is not an option and Yamaha well the jury is still out on that one. Not nocking these bikes, they're just not the total answer. Actually I may look at a Bombardier 400 with IRS I hear some good things about it. Any first hand experience you have would be helpfull.

Hey there Toys,we went thru some pretty attrocious trenching in a creek bottom the other day my 650 and my brothers handled it no sweat, the rincon did really well there also it didnt look as if it would be tippy I dont think it was going to go over on itself...I would say that i dont think it has the torque of the 650 at least as far as roost goes. It seemed to be a capable heavy technical ride...I have never riddin the 700 but where we were woild have been murder on a tippy ride.

Hi Metaliketv,

I'm very envious of you I would love to go riding where you go. It sounds like a whole lot of fun. I'm picking up my machine on the 30th of this month. I wouldn't be able to ride until November because I'm getting married in October, and I have a few things to finish up with the wedding.

Please keep me in mind when you go riding.

Thanks Again,

IronBear

hey Bear,I'll let ya know when we do a ride sometime..we really dont have that much area around here..sounds like a lot but is actually only 3 spots one of which is only 25 acres..another is probley all told 4-5000 acres on several seperate farms..and the last is the creek..kinda not supposed to go there..so we try an not tear things up much(as long as your not in the actual creek theres not much that can be done)..i really want to get abunch of us together and ride Tugg hill for a day and camp(i.e.Party) over night..its about 2 1/2 hours from me..i would think that its gonna be 6 for you..I can hit worscter massin 8 so you gotta be closer than that..probley wont get there till spring anyhow..cant ride during the deer season there and its gets A$$ freezing cold by early October..most of my riding is done on the neibors 20 acres that lie in the flood plain..the other is my 5 acres..

Hey Alltoys...I see you have ridin with a 700...Did you race? A gut at my work (FedEx Freight) has been wanting to race a 650...From what I have heard, the 700 has a higher top speed. I am sure that I can take him out of the hole...let me know what you think!

454 If you have a stock bike yes you will wup him on the start but not after 200ft then he will catch up to you and eventually pass. I have 28in Outlaws and with the extra weight without modding the bike I only managed to edge him by inches on the start and later pull away from me. Since I have modded the muffler, intake and jets there is no comparison on the start. I manage to jump ahead again by a bike length then I can only edge my way ahead of the 700 and it is a steady but slow pull away. After the modds I can only gain 5 extra mph because of the CDI. On a mile run I would think the Polaris would eventually pass me. Stock to stock the Kawi will jump ahead but the 700 will catch you. This is my opinion others will say different but I raced 3 brand new 700's we even changed bikes and the result was the same. Good luck Kick butt, I with my modds have retained temporary supremacy over my Polaris buddies although I think that might change on day. They want to modd their bikes like mine but I will keep my shop built Nitrous on the Green Machine just to keep the edge. By all means have fun!!!!!!!!!!!
